Shared Leadership Documents

Shared Leadership Documents

The documents that can be accessed from this section are drawn from either:

  1. JECEI documents and published articles that describe JECEI's shared leadership process.
  2. Portfolios that demonstrate how shared leadership occurred in Jewish Early Childhood Centers that the Center submitted as part of their JECEI Accreditation submissions.

The portfolios demonstrate how shared leadership occurs between educators, parents, host education and the leadership teams throughout the JECEI change process.

The portfolios were created during the accreditation process and documented the JECEI change process of the Center. Each of the seven Centers is described in the Publications and Networking section along with a link to the Center is described in the Impact section.

The desired outcomes of JECEI's shared leadership approach are identified in JECEI's Logic Model and the Second Leadership Participant documents. The outcomes that should occur as a result of implementing the JECEI change process are stated in the JECEI Logic Model:

The second level participant outcomes show the outcomes that can be achieved in the first, second, third and fourth year of the JECEI change process. The outcomes are organized by the three key pillars of the JECEI change process:

  1. Quality Jewish Early Childhood Education
  2. Engaging Families and Children
  3. Shared Leadership
